It's the moment New Yorkers have been waiting for since the freezing winter months. We've finally reached the month of June, and there's set to be a plethora of good times in store for the next few weeks. Some of the awesome memories might come from the amount of great shows heading to the Big Apple soon. Several artists will have multiple stops in the area, including an acoustic duo celebrating the 10 year anniversary of a critically acclaimed album. We'll also have performances from a heralded rap crew and a beloved Canadian goth rock outfit. You can take a look at what's going down in June below.

Friday, June 2

Ho99o9, Ninjasonik @ Brooklyn Bazaar
Alternative hip hop outfit Ho99o9 are set to deliver an explosive performance inside the Brooklyn Bazaar. The rising group recently released their highly anticipated debut album United States Of Ho99o9. The show will also feature a performance from Ninjasonik.

Tuesday, June 6

Portugal. The Man, Electric Guest, KEMBA @ Terminal 5
Portgual. The Man take over Terminal 5 for back to back performances (the group will also perform on June 7). The alternative rock group are set to release their new studio album Woodstock on June 16. The release features the single "Feel It Still", which became their first single to top the Adult Alternative Songs chart.

Ween @ Brooklyn Steel
Alternative rockers Ween will have a two night stint inside Brooklyn Steel (they'll also perform on June 7). Last year, the band had several reunion shows across the country and released the live album GodWeenSatan Live.

Thursday, June 8

Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ryan Sheridan @ Brooklyn Steel
Acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela come to Brooklyn Steel celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their self titled album. The outfit will also bring the tour to Terminal 5 on June 9. Their last studio album was 2014's 9 Dead Alive.

Friday, June 9

The Specials, Far East @ Brooklyn Steel
Ska outfit The Specials make their way to Brooklyn en route to the Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival and Amnesia Rockfest. Last year, the outfit welcomed drummer Gary Powell to the crew following the death of longtime drummer John Bradbury in 2015.

Saturday, June 10

Jurassic 5 @ Brooklyn Steel
Los Angeles hip hop outfit Jurassic 5 bring their North American tour to Brooklyn Steel, and tickets are quickly disappearing. The group reunited back in 2013, and they've been touring around the world frequently. Their music can be heard in the Tony Hawk's Underground, SSX on Tour, and Forza Horizon 3 video games.

Wednesday, June 14

Dawes @ Brooklyn Steel
Los Angeles folk rock band Dawes are set to tour alongside Elvis Costello & The Imposters this month, and they're paying the Big Apple a visit for a special headlining show. Back in September, the band released their latest studio album We're All Gonna Die, which is their second album to top the Folk Rock Albums chart.

Sorority Noise, Forth Wanderers, The Obsessives, Shannen Moser @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
In March, Connecticut indie rockers Sorority Noise released their new studio album You're Not As As You Think, and their upcoming Northeast stint is on the verge on being sold out. The new record was produced by Mike Sapone, who has frequently worked with Brand New and Taking Back Sunday.

Great Good Fine OK, Morgxn @ Rough Trade
NYC synthpop duo Great Good Fine OK will make their way to Rough Trade on the final few stops of their U.S. tour. Great Good Fine OK are plugging their new III EP, which is a mixture of previously released singles and a couple new tunes.

Monday, June 19

The Birthday Massacre, Army of the Universe, Sumo Cyco @ The Marlin Room at Webster Hall
Even though it's on a Monday, gothic rock outfit The Birthday Massacre will still put on a stellar performance in the city. The band are touring in support of their upcoming studio album Under Your Spell, which will be released on June 9 via Metropolis Records.
