The BRIT Awards 2018 to honor Steve Mac as British Producer of the Year

Although the BRIT Awards are still a few weeks away, the recipient of one of the BRIT's most prestigious awards has already been revealed. Steve Mac will receive the British Producer of the Year award in 2018. 

According to the BRIT Awards website, Mac had involvement in records that sold upwards of 200 million throughout his career. His shining achievement of 2017? Mac co-wrote and produced the UK’s best selling record of the year and most streamed song of all time so far, Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” 

Steve Mac will take home the British Producer of the Year prize when the 2018 BRIT Awards air from London's O2 Arena on Feb. 21. Click here to find tickets to the cermony on AXS.

Besides working with Sheeran, Mac also logged Top 10 hits with One Direction’s Liam Payne, P!nk and more. The superstar producer has also worked with Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris, Demi Lovato, Charli XCX, James Blunt, Kelly Clarkson, Susan Boyle and more.
