The Santa Fe, New Mexico-based arts and entertainment collective Meow Wolf will present their first weekend music experience Aug. 3-4 in Taos, a hip artists’ community located about an hour and a half north of Santa Fe. Quirky rockers The Flaming Lips and electronic duo Thievery Corporation will headline the inaugural Taos Vortex. The event will take place in Taos’ expansive Kit Carson Park.

Amusingly, Cashmere Cat and Dr. Dog are both among the Taos Vortex support acts, but there won’t be any fur flying; Philadelphia rockers Dr. Dog and Norway’s house music specialist Magnus Høiberg, aka Cashmere Cat, are performing on different days. Here’s a rundown of all scheduled performers.
