The Fray has announced a hometown holiday show at Denver’s Ogden Theatre set for Dec. 1. The Denver-based band will perform for the annual Sing It To Me Santa benefit in conjunction with Governor Hickenlooper’s Take Note Colorado initiative. Denver band Tracksuit Wedding will provide support. Net proceeds will go to Take Note Colorado, whose mission is to put an instrument in the hand of every Colorado student from kindergarten to 12th-grade. You can find tickets to Sing It To Me Santa with The Fray and Tracksuit Wedding by following this link.

Sing It To Me Santa is a passion project for both bands playing the event this year. The Fray’s Isaac Slade has led the Take Note Colorado initiative along with Gov. Hickenlooper for over a year, bringing stellar music programs to Colorado students like the summer music and reading program Libraries Rock! Click here to learn more about Take Note Colorado.

As Westword reported, musician and philanthropist Libby Anschutz of Tracksuit Wedding founded Sing It To Me Santa in 2013. The event has benefited Colorado music education for the past five years and has become a beloved Denver holiday tradition.
