Prepare to assemble! The iconic character from the Marvel Universe will once again donne their costumes and show off their powers as they prepare to save the universe from evil once again in their second Marvel Live! performance, titled Age of the Heroes.

This all-new Marvel show will unite everyones favorite heroes as they race to stop the most threatening villains, including Thor's evil brother Loki who is trying to gain control of the Wand of Watoomb. This ancient wand would allow the trouble-making Loki to become ruler of the universe. Loki's quest will send heroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Doctor Strange and Thor beyond planet Earth where they'll likely run into rag-tag adventurers like The Guardians of the Galaxy.

The show will feature plenty of acrobatics, cutting-edge special effects, immersive video projection, fighting, motorcycles, explosions and more. Kids can dress up as their favorite comic book heroes to join in on the fun while the iconic character help protect the universe from evil.

“It’s sort of our modern Aesop’s fables. They’re the heroes of our time. Even though they have these unlimited powers, they are always fighting for what’s right and for what’s good,” show director James Hadley (who's previously worked with Cirque du Soleilsaid in an Associate Press announcement. “That’s the message that’s important now. Even when it looks like they’re not going to succeed, they just keep pushing.”

The show is produced by Feld Entertainment, and will be the very first new show since the group ended Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. However, this is not the first run Marvel has had in the live tour sector with their first live show debuting in 2014.

Age of Heroes will officially premiere at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on July 7 after receiving a soft opening in New Orleans June 23-25. After making it's way through North America from now until the beginning of 2019, the tour will then head out on an international leg of the tour.
