Due to popular demand, folk outfit The Head and the Heart have expanded their 2017 Signs of Light Tour. This summer, they are expected to make a pitstop at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colo. and have added a second show. Jonathan Russell, Josiah Johnson, Charity Rose Thielen, Kenny Hensley, Tyler Williams and Chris Zasche will play the stage Aug. 2 and 3, with Grouplove opening in support. Late last year, the group dropped their long-awaited third studio album, the aptly-titled Signs of Light, which features some of their best work (such as the title track, "All We Ever Knew" and "City of Angels").

The band first made a splash with 2010's self-titled project before expanding their sound and catalog with the follow-up, 2013's Let's Be Still. Check out our lists of their 10 best songs and their five best lyrics, and learn five things you didn't know about the band.

Tickets for the Aug. 3 show go on-sale this Friday (March 10) at 10 a.m. General Admission and reserved tickets run $43.50 to $49.95 (plus additional charges and fees).

Stay tuned to for any and all updates.
