The Heavy announces 2020 tour in support of new album, 'Sons'

The Heavy is hitting the road to perform their latest musical offering in Sons (2019). The album, released on May 17, marks the funk-rock collective's fifth studio album and has been recognized as their most nuanced and complex project to date, ditching the traditional conventions of today's popular music while continuing to utilize their known theme of funk-inspired, psychedelic party rock.

The Heavy's upcoming Sons North American Tour will kick off in early February and hit cities like Boston (Tickets), New York (Tickets), Los Angeles (Tickets), and more. Tickets for the "Girl" performers' upcoming 2020 tour go on sale on Oct. 18 (Tickets).

The British funk-rock band's music has been used for a wide variety of highly-popularized television show intros, video games, and commercials throughout their twelve-year tenure in the entertainment industry. Their 2009 single, "How You Like Me Now?," has become their signature song after being featured on episodes of Entourage, Community, and a Kia Sorento commercial that aired during Super Bowl XLIV. Their latest singles in "Better As One" and "Put It on the Line" have had similar success with "Put It on the Line" serving as the theme song for the highly-popularized first-person shooter game, Borderlands 3, and "Better As One" appearing on the Fast & The Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw movie soundtrack.
