For decades, The New York Pops has carved a space in the crowded New York orchestra scene based on their inventive and accessible symphonic renditions of popular music.
The Pops celebrate their 34th year in operation this summer and following their birthday gala in May, the Pops will return to Forest Hills Stadium on Thursday, June 8. The return to the Queens stadium counts as the third consecutive season at Forest Hills for the orchestra. Led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, the Pops will perform the music of legendary film composer John Williams, who is responsible for numerous iconic scores, including “Jaws,” “Star Wars,” “Indiana Jones,” and “E.T.”
Tickets for The New York Pops at Forest Hills Stadium go on sale Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. EDT. Find more information here.
