The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills has added three new events scheduled to take place during their PaleyLive LA spring season. “From a new look at the iconic characters from ‘The Karate Kid’ to an evening with the cast of the one of the wittiest comedies on TV, and exploring wild animals from around the world with the beloved Irwin family, these latest selections exemplifies the Paley Center’s mission to present programming that is both entertaining and educational,” Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center’s President & CEO, stated in a press release.
Monday, April 22, 2019, welcomes “Cobra Kai: Season Two Premiere Screening & Conversation,” beginning at 7 p.m. Off of the success of the new show and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of “The Karate Kid,” Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Courtney Henggeler, Jacob Bertrand, and Gianni Decenzo, are set to appear alongside “Cobra Kai” creators/executive producers Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg. The evening invites guests for a special screening and panel in advance of the season 2 premiere.
NBC’s “Superstore” also joins the lineup. Now renewed for a fifth season, the comedy includes the show’s star, director, and producer America Ferrera, as well as stars Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom, Mark McKinney, and executive producer Justin Spitzer. Each is scheduled to be there for the occasion. "Superstore: An Evening in Cloud 9,” is set for Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 7 p.m.
Rounding things out is “An Evening with The Irwins: Crikey! It’s the Irwins Screening & Conversation.” The event will be held at The Paley Center for Media on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 7 p.m. Terri Irwin, Bindi Irwin, Robert Irwin, and members of the creative team, will be on hand to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Animal Planet’s hit series, “Crikey! It’s the Irwins.”
