The Used, Glassjaw to perform at NYC’s Terminal 5

The Used will headline Terminal 5 at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 with support from special guest Glassjaw.

The Used are touring in support of their seventh studio long-player, The Canyon, which emerged back on Oct. 27 on Hopeless Records. The album, anchored by the standout single “Over and Over Again,” also includes highlights like “Broken Widows” and “Rise Up Lights.”

It’s been 15 years since The Used released their self-titled debut. Released in June 2002 via Reprise Records, the album was produced by Goldfinger frontman and producer extraordinaire John Feldmann. It landed at No. 63 on the Billboard 200 and gave birth to four singles: “A Box Full of Sharp Objects,” “The Taste of Ink,” “Buried Myself Alive” and “Blue and Yellow.”

Lies for the Liars, The Used’s third studio LP, celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year. The album, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in May 2007, spawned the singles “The Bird and the Worm” and “Pretty Handsome Awkward.”

Long Island post-hardcore darlings Glassjaw, who is currently hard at work on their third album, burst onto the scene in May 2000 with the release of their debut full-length, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence, on Roadrunner Records. The album was supported by the singles “Pretty Lush” and “Ry Ry’s Song.”

Glassjaw released its second and most recent effort, Worship and Tribute, in July 2002 on Warner Bros. The album peaked at No. 82 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the singles “Cosmopolitan Bloodloss” and “Ape Dos Mil.”
