'The Voice' season 14, episode 21 recap and performances

"The Voice" had its Top 10 Performances round on Monday as the NBC singing competition searched for its semi-finalists. Not only did "The Voice" season 14 artists take the stage again, but coach Kelly Clarkson also got in on the action by delivering a live performance of her newest single. Here are the highlights music fans need to know from Monday's episode:

1) Brynn Cartelli gets a lot of views, but what about votes?

As of Monday night, Brynn Cartelli from Team Kelly had the second-most views on the show's YouTube channel, with more than 100,000 plays of her version of "Fix You." But it's not YouTube votes that count; it's iTunes downloads, and Brynn's cover had yet to reach the all-important Top 10 on the iTunes Singles Chart. So it's entirely possible she could be sent home despite more people watching her performance than any other artist. That would also leave Kelly with just one contestant on her team. Plus, Brynn chose a song that "Voice" fans know well. Watch Brynn perform by playing the video above, and see how you think she compares to this classic "The Voice" cover of the same song.

2) It's another "Greatest Showman" cover

Since "The Greatest Showman" came out, songs from the movie musical have been a favorite of singing competitions. "The Voice" had that happen on Monday when Blake Shelton's artist Kyla Jade performed "This Is Me." It clearly worked, since she had the most views on the night (108,000 and counting). But that didn't change the fact that it came with a fair amount of song fatigue. This exact same song was covered on "American Idol" two weeks ago by Mara Justine and that version was much bigger. Click the link above to hear Kyla's version and compare the two, though she will likely be safe from elimination as she has reached Top 10 on the iTunes charts.

3) Kelly takes the stage

Kelly Clarkson had her first "The Voice" performance as a coach on Monday. She rolled out her new single "I Don't Think About You" on the show's stage and if you missed it, you can play it by clicking the link above. Kelly is no stranger to this venue, as she was a musical guest on the show well before she was a coach, but it was one of her best performances on "The Voice" yet. The absolute best, though, is still her duet from two years ago with Adam Levine's eventual runner-up Billy Gilman. Now let's just hope she still has a finalist of her own when voting results are revealed on Tuesday.

"The Voice" airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. "Voice" fans can get tickets to see Adam Levine and Maroon 5 live through AXS by using the links below:
