The War on Drugs

The War On Drugs will be hitting the road this fall in support of their heavily anticipated follow-up album to 2014’s Lost In A Dream. The band released their fall tour itinerary on Friday morning, which includes 34 dates across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom starting on Sept. 21 in their hometown of Philadelphia, PA, and will keep them on the road until late Nov.

Fans of the band got their first taste of new music from the group a few days prior to Record Store Day this past weekend, with a limited run of 12” copies of “Thinking Of A Place.” The nearly 11-minute single is the first track off their upcoming studio album, which has yet to be officially announced as of Friday.

Highlights on the upcoming tour include scheduled outdoor performances at Central Park SummerStage in New York’s famous park on Sept. 22, as well as a gig at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Oct. 5.

Tickets for select dates on the tour will go on sale starting next Friday, May 5, at 10 a.m., and can be found by clicking here.
