At midnight, The Weeknd posted an official music video for his single "I Feel It Coming." This marks the third music video the "Starboy" singer has released this year. The futuristic "I Feel It Coming" video was directed by Warren Fu, and features a cameo by Daft Punk.
It's not surprising that Daft Punk make an appearance since the electronic duo produced, and are featured on the song. In the "I See It Coming" music video, The Weeknd is on an abandoned planet that only contains sand and rocks. Midway through the video a girl suddenly appears, and the pair seductively dance.
As an eclipse begins to happen, the girl turns to stone. Shortly after, The Weeknd suffers the same fate. The "I See It Coming" music video ends with Daft Punk on that same planet. As they search the now snow-covered ground, the pair uncover a glowing purple object. No idea what it is, but the object seemed important.
The song "I See It Coming" was the second single from The Weeknd's most recent album, Starboy. The title track from that album also features Daft Punk. The trio performed a bit of "Starboy" and all of "I See It Coming" at this year's Grammy Awards.
You can see The Weeknd perform both those songs live on his Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour. A complete list of dates can be viewed here.
