British rockers The Wombats are making their way back across the pond for a U.S. headlining tour. After their summer tour supporting co-headlining legends Pixies and Weezer, they will be taking the top of the bill starting in August.

Formed in 2003, The Wombats have enjoyed overseas success since their earliest days. Their early singles peaked high on the UK charts, but it wasn’t until 2015 until they began to gain traction in the U.S., appearing on late night shows and charting on the Billboard 200. These days, the band just completed a fully sold-out UK tour, including a performance at London’s Alexandra Palace. Their fourth and latest album, Beautiful People will Ruin your Life, was just released in February of this year, and their single “Turn” has enjoyed the #1 spot on the Sirius Alt Nation playlist on Spotify.

NME describes the band as “Bigger than ever...their streaming numbers on a healthy incline and the venue sizes increasing with each tour."

Beautiful People will Ruin your Life has enjoyed success on its own, landing on both UK Top 3 and Billboard 200 charts. Their tour will be in support of their newest album and will extend from June to their final show of the tour in New York at the end of October.
