Today, TIME announced its third annual most influential people on the internet list, which included people from all different industries. According to the list, "TIME sized up contenders by looking at their global impact on social media and their overall ability to drive news."
Making that list for the first time was no other than BTS, the seven-piece k-pop band who has been taking Twitter and Facebook by storm. It's no surprise that they would make this list, as they recently just won "top social artist" at the Billboard Music Awards in May. Their fans show major support in everything they do. Two weeks ago, was their fourth anniversary as a band, and fans around the world showed their support for the boy group.
BTS joins the list with major celebrities, including Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling, Twitter clap-back queen Chrissy Tiegen, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Chance the Rapper, Rihanna and more. Take a look at the complete list here.
