Iconic R&B group TLC are officially back with their new single, "Way Back." The smooth, groovy track featuring Snoop Dogg, is a three-minute dose of nostalgic heaven for longtime fans. It has the same swagger, style, and an irresistible hook like their classic material. The song also pays homage to legendary musicians, like Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and Prince. The single, their first in 15 years, comes from their currently untitled album, which is expected to drop Jun. 30. The new album marks the group's fifth and final album. It's also the first without founding member, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who died in 2002. Their last release, 3-D, featured some of Lopes' last musical contributions.

To fund the new record, the band launched a Kickstarter campaign in 2015, which was a success and raised over $430,000. Their initial goal was to raise $150,000. They surpassed this goal in 48 hours and became the fastest most funded pop project in Kickstarter history. Fans can currently suggest album titles on the campaign page. “We need your help. Let’s hear your suggestions for the album title! Tionne and Chilli are still undecided so (they’re) looking to you for inspiration," they say.

So far, confirmed songs for the album include "Haters" and "Joyride," which were released in Japan last year.

In 2013, TLC appeared on J. Cole's hit single "Crooked Smile." Last year, they performed their holiday hit "Sleigh Ride" with some help from Missy Elliot on Taraji P. Henson's "Taraji's White Hot Holiday" special on Fox.
