The German rock band Tokio Hotel have just announced the 2018 North American trek for their Dream Machine Tour. The band will hit places like the Gothic Theatre in Denver, California’s City National Grove of Anaheim and Philly’s Trocadero Theatre. Buy your tickets to here.
The band was founded in 2001 by twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz at the tender age of 12. The two later recruit bass player George Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer to make the group complete.
Unlike most new music acts, it didn’t take long for Tokio Hotel to score a hit record. Since their first single “Durch den Monsun (Through the Monsoon)” went No. 1 on Germany’s GfK Entertainment Charts. The song also took the top position on other charts in countries like Australia.
In 2005, the quartet released their first LP Schrei and with the strength of “Durch den Monsun” pushing it, the album went gold. It delivered other chart-topping singles like “Rette mich (Rescue Me),” and “Der letzte Tag (The Final Day).”
Two years after that, the band hit No. 1 again with their sophomore release Zimmer 483 and later released an English version titled Ready, Set, Go.
For their 2018 North American tour, Tokio Hotel will be stopping in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Milwaukee and Chicago before wrapping things up in Arizona. You can see all of the dates and purchase tickets below.
