August sees the end of summer and with that, it is time for kids and college students alike to head to one of the DFW areas major colleges. With very little time left to enjoy the break, The Bomb Factory has a nice lineup of concerts coming to help end the summer in styles. Here is a look at five upcoming concerts leading into the start of school in the DFW area.
All these concerts at The Bomb Factory have tickets on sale right now through AXS.
Lil Yachty will hit Dallas on Aug. 11 with the first concert of his Teenage tour. The concert is in support of his debut studio album Teenage Emotions album that was released back in May. That album hit fifth on the U.S. Billboard charts and this concert should be one of the hottest rap shows in Dallas this summer. Tickets are on sale now at AXS and start at $29.50.
Fleet Foxes rose to fame last decade and was the band that helped Father John Misty become a huge underground star. While Misty is coming to Dallas this fall as well, Fleet Foxes returned for a 2017 reunion and tour as well as a brand-new album in Crack Up. The band seems as popular as ever. Tickets for the Fleet Foxes concert at The Bomb Factory range from $40.50 to $56 and are on sale at AXS.
Bryson Tiller released a giant 19-track album in May called True to Self and then he set out on a world tour, that included a number of U.K. dates. Tiller is heading back to the U.S. in August and will hit The Bomb Factory in Dallas on Aug. 25 as one of three Texas dates for the performer. Tickets for the concert run between $46.50 and $95.
Indie folk band Lord Huron are on a concert tour this summer and the Los Angeles favorites will play The Bomb Factory in Dallas on Aug. 28, one of the last concerts before school starts up again in the DFW area. The band hasn’t released an album since 2015’s Strange Trails, they still remain a hot touring act and Dallas fans will get a chance to see them in action. Tickets for this concert start out at $34.50.
While school will be already back in session in the Dallas area, one huge concert that many fans won’t want to miss comes early on in the school year with the Old 97’s hitting The Bomb Factory on Sept. 16. Fans in Dallas know a lot about the Old 97’s since the DFW area is where this band got their start back in the ‘90s. Tickets for this homecoming show range from $43.50 up to $55 through AXS.
