The drunkenly absurd residents of Sunnyvale Trailer Park will be trading in their dope for the open road this holiday season. The famous Trailer Park Boys themselves in Ricky, Julian, Bubbles and Mr. Lahey will set off on their "Dear Santa" Tour on Nov. 27, and perform throughout their home country of Canada before coming to the U.S. for nine shows across the west coast and Texas. The tour is scheduled to come to an end on Dec. 10 in Austin, Texas.
Luckily for fans, it doesn’t seem like the dirty-mouthed schemers have changed their rude and ridiculous lifestyles since originally airing on the Canadian Showcase channel back in 2001. The four comedians and castmates who have been with the show from the beginning were able to carry their unkempt jokes and lifestyles into the 2010s after purchasing the production rights and bringing the world of TPB to Netflix starting in 2014. One of their latest projects also involves bringing their characters’ signature voices to the airwaves on the Trailer Park Boys Podcast, which also launched back in 2015.
This time around it doesn't appear that a drunken Jim Lahey or a burger-eating Randy will be the enemies of Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles, but rather Santa Claus himself. What can one expect to see and hear when the three naughtiest fellas in Canada decide to turn their rage against jolly old Saint Nick? Presumably nonstop hilarity and drunken shenanigans, that’s what.
