Southern California singer-songwriter, Travis Marsh, has recently released the new music video for his single, "Lay Me Down," on Vevo.com. The music video features Chicago rapper G Herbo, with artist and model Asphyxia Noir. Marsh plays a wounded man, and Noir plays the pretty lady who removes the bullet from his shoulder in a secluded hotel room. The video is shocking, as it concludes with a very harsh ending. The video can be viewed in this article.
Referencing the gritty video and its message, Marsh says in a general press statement that he had a "great time writing music and coming together on this track with Herb [G Herbo] to help bring awareness to some of the social injustices we face today from LA to the Windy City." Check out the recent premiere of Travis's single, "Lay Me Down," exclusively streamed on AXS.
Travis recently performed two showcases at SXSW, he also performed at the Heart of Texas Rock Fest, and on the rooftop of the Westin Hotel in downtown Austin as part of the Chive TV showcase. Wednesday, March 22 saw him performing at the Mint, and he will continue to perform as often as he's able and gets the chance to.
