It may be a chilly morning on Thanksgiving in Greater Cleveland, but braving the cold will be worth it at this trot. The suburb of Green will host the G.P.A. Turkey Trot, which will be in its 6th year of racing and will send its proceeds to fund college scholarships for seniors of Green High School. What a great cause to burn calories for.
Lake County YMCA Turkey Day 5K

Over in Lake County, runners from across the county will come to Painesville to run in this fantastic trot. The Lake County YMCA Turkey Trot 5K is a perfect family-friendly tort that will have a small town feel to it. Proceeds from the trot will go to community charity organizations, so make the community better by burning off some calories to make room for Thanksgiving dinner.
