Lace up those running shoes and take to the streets of Seattle’s beautiful Sunset Hill neighborhood. The 2017 Seattle Turkey Trot will take runners on a nice fun run through this funky neighborhood, and, as a bonus, all of the proceeds from the turkey trot will go to the Ballard Food Bank to feed those who need a hot meal on the day of giving.

Get ready to run for that drumstick at beautiful Magnuson Park. The 2017 Turkey Trot isn’t one of Seattle’s more challenging ones, but the trot does have one beautiful course, and all proceeds from the event will go to benefit the University Food Bank, which will provide a great need in a city that is battling chronic homeless. So bring some food and get ready to run for that drumstick.

The Oly Trot

Down in the state capital of Olympia, this trot will be wacky and fun for a good cause. The Oly Trot is a four-mile race that will have residents in all sorts of Thanksgiving costumes running through Heritage Park to not only burn off calories but to also give to local charities such food banks to help out the community. So do good, get out that turkey outfit, and get ready to race in The Oly Trot.

Well. you can try at the Beat the Bird 5K & Lil’ Drumstick 1K, where runners of all shapes, sizes, and ages will run through a course that will see if they can indeed beat the bird. All proceeds from this trot will go to the Renewal Food Bank to aid in their mission to keep families feed throughout the holidays.
