Turkuaz announce North American fall tour

Turkuaz, the colorfully-presented power funk band from Brooklyn, will be hitting the road for a massive 46-date North American tour this fall. Announced on Tuesday, the nine-piece group will head out across the country starting on Sept. 12 in Arcata, California and will remain on the road until the year comes to a close with their final show in 2017 to take place on Dec. 30 in New Haven, Connecticut.

The upcoming fall tour may seem like a big undertaking for any band, but for Turkuaz it’s just an extension onto what has been a year full of electrifying shows across the country. They’ve spent most of the year on the road since the spring, touring across North America and making their way onto a handful of summer festival posters including Camp Bisco, Bonnaroo and the Rage Rocks event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre back in mid-May. Their road warrior work ethic, along with their energy-fueled shows, has made them one of the more popular bands to emerge out of the funk/jam band scene in the last few years.

Turkuaz will be joined by fellow Brooklyn band Sinkane for a handful of September and early October dates on the tour and The Suffers for the November and December dates.

Tickets for select shows on their upcoming fall tour will be going on sale starting this Friday, Aug. 18 and can be purchased by clicking here.
