U.S. Girls (aka Meg Remy) will be performing live at venues across North America in upcoming months. The Canadian native artist is touring to support her upcoming album, Heavy Light, which drops on March 6 via 4AD.

The tour kicks off in Remy’s home base of Toronto, Ontario on Feb. 15. The tour will stop in multiple North American cities including Kansas City (Tickets), Denver (Tickets), Nashville (Tickets), Brooklyn (Tickets), and Cambridge (Tickets).

Presales for select shows begin on Jan. 15 and tickets go on sale to the general public on Jan. 17.

Meg Remy produced Heavy Light, which marks her seventh studio album. According to a press release, on the upcoming record, the multitalented singer-songwriter “turns inward.” The album is filled with “personal narratives” that also explore “the melancholy flavour of hindsight, both personal and cultural.”

Remy has also reworked three singles from other projects for the collection including “Red Ford Radio,” “Statehouse (It’s a Man’s World),” and the album’s lead single “Overtime.” She notably incorporates 20 studio musicians and shares her voice with a myriad of backing singers on Heavy Light. E Street Band saxophonist Jake Clemons is one of the guest musicians. Spoken word clips are woven throughout from Remy and the album’s troupe of singers.

The video for “Overtime” accompanied the track’s release. Remy directed, filmed, and edited the visual herself. Heavy Light follows U.S. Girls award-winning 2018 album In a Poem Unlimited. Fans can gear up to watch Remy perform tracks from her introspective new collection as she embarks on her impending tour.
