UB40 Legends Ali, Astro & Mickey to play at The Greek Theatre in LA in July

UB40 Legends Ali, Astro & Mickey, are certainly "legends" in the reggae world. The group, who has been around since 1978 are still going strong and will be making at stop at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on July 6, with fellow reggae musicians Matisyahu and Raging Fyah.

The three person-group, which consists of founding members Ali Campbell, Astro Virtue and Mickey Virtue, will most likely play their hits for U.S. fans, including the classics, "Red, Red Wine" and "The Way You Do The Things You Do."

In an interview with AXS last year, Campbell said, "The pragmatic way to look at it is that we’ve reinvented ourselves. Every artist reinvents themselves at some point, this just wasn’t necessarily a conscious reinvention. Truthfully, though, the big reunion has happened already. Fans never thought they’d see me and Astro on the same stage again.”

In addition to playing in Los Angeles, the band will make their way around the U.S. this summer with stops in New York at Playstation Theater and at Philadelphia's Electric Factory. To see a full list of tour dates click here.
