Stipe Miocic puts his heavyweight title on the line against Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 226. Tickets for the July 7 pay-per-view spectacular are on sale right here on AXS. In honor of this historic championship collision, here's a look back at Miocic's five best fights:

Andrei Arlovski - UFC 195

Back in the winter of 2016, Miocic was still a rising prospect, mostly unknown to the mainstream media and casual fans. Everything changed the moment he turned Arlovski's lights out, as it was a finish of one of the greatest MMA heavyweights of all-time. Miocic's knockout earned him a "Performance of the Night" bonus.

Joey Beltran - UFC 136

In 2011, Miocic made his UFC debut with an eye-opening performance against Joey Beltran. While he failed to score a finish, Miocic imposed his will throughout the three-round scrap. The victory put him on the radar as a top young heavyweight to watch.

Alistair Overeem - UFC 203

Cleveland played host to UFC 203 in September of 2016. Fighting in front of his hometown fans, Miocic -- an Ohio native -- successfully defended his world title with a vicious knockout of Overeem. This fight proved that Miocic can be a legitimate draw at the box office, as well as a solid main event talent.

Francis Ngannou - UFC 220

Heading into UFC 220, Ngannou was being pushed as the next big thing at heavyweight. No one gave Miocic -- the reigning champion -- much respect heading into fight night. But after a dominant five-round effort that saw Miocic break the record for most heavyweight title defenses, even his harshest critics had nothing negative to say.

Fabricio Werdum - UFC 198

Werdum is the guy who beat some of the most unstoppable heavyweights in UFC history. So what do you call the guy who beat Werdum? You can just go ahead and call Miocic the "goat," as he may literally be the best of all-time.
