Family Fun Night Presents Ken Frawley’s Howlin’ Halloween Party!

Kids should dress in their Halloween costumes for a fun and only slightly spooky party featuring stories told by Frawley. The Planter’s Nutmobile and Mr. Peanut will also join the fun.
Boo!seum at the Museum

Boo!seum will be a kid-friendly Halloween-themed celebration with silly, not-very-scary fun. Dress kids in costumes for the Costume Parade, which will start at 3:30 p.m. Activities will include games, crafts, science experiments, pumpkin carving, and more. There will be a limited number of spaces, so pre-register. The fee will be $5 per participant. There will be a $1 discount for kids who come in costume.

Enjoy an afternoon of fun at the Rancho Mirage Public Library. The kid-friendly activities will include carnival games, a parade of costumes, trick-or-treating throughout the library, and the Buster Balloon Spook’Tacular with balloon creations, magic, and comedy.
Halloween Spooktacular at Fall Fest

Halloween Spooktacular will be a free family-friendly celebration with fun activities for kids in front of the City Hall. Kids should wear Halloween costumes and plan to trick-or-treat in a safe environment. The City will donate several bicycles to give as prizes for the costume contests.
Howl-O-Ween – A Zoo Adventure

Living Desert Zoo and Gardens — 47900 Portola Ave., Palm Desert, CA 92260
Howl-O-Ween will be a not-so-spooky adventure at the zoo. Dress in costumes and join the fun, decorations and characters at the zoo. Kids will receive a candy bag so they can trick-or-treat at the treat stations. Kid-friendly activities will also include pumpkin decorating, pumpkin bowling, face painting, live entertainment, a monster maze, and more. Zookeepers will provide special animal encounters and the zoo mascots will be seen around the zoo. The Halloween events will be free for members. Sunday’s event will be free with paid admission. On Tuesday evening the fee will be $10 for guests.
