Unsane announce new album 'Sterilize'

Since the release of their last studio album Wreck, iconic NYC noise rock group Unsane have been under the radar with the exception of some festival appearances. Their members have been quite busy, though; bassist Dave Curran continued working on his outfit Pigs, and vocalist Chris Spencer teamed up with Today Is The Day frontman Steve Austin for UXO. Yesterday, the band decided to not keep fans waiting much longer with some music news.

Unsane revealed that their new studio album Sterilize is set to be released on Sept. 29th via Southern Lord. The release was mixed by Andrew Schneider, who has worked on their previous two albums. More info on the record will drop shortly.

Leading up to the release date, Unsane will find themselves touring across North America. The trek kicks off in Portland on July 15, and it will make a special stop in Minneapolis on July 21 for the AmRep Bash pre-show, which is free to the public. Other acts slated to perform that night are The Hand and China City.

For their headlining tour, Unsane will be joined by fellow NYC noise rock band Fashion Week, who released their So Last Season B-side collection back in March. More dates will be revealed soon. For now, you can check out their tour routing below. Tickets are on sale right now.
