New York indie-pop artist Vérité has been making the most out of 2017 so far, spending the first month and a half of the new year by taking some big steps to further her quickly growing career. Back on January 13 she released “Phase Me Out,” the first single from her upcoming full-length recording debut, to be released sometime later this year via Kobalt. The new song has earned her over 1.9 million Spotify streams since its independent release a month ago. She also made her national television debut towards the end of January when she performed the new single on Today as part of Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month series.

On Tuesday she released the video for “Phase Me Out,” making it the first official music video of her already impressive career as a notable independent artist. The video, which can be seen below, shows an emotionally distant and spaced out Vérite make a mess of things to get out of both her and her perceived lover’s seemingly mundane reality.

She also announced a batch of European, U.K., and North American tour dates for this coming spring, most of which will be spent sharing the bill with fellow indie pop singer, Betty Who. The spring run of shows should be the first of many positive announcements and headlines the impressive young artist will be making this year.
