Country legend Vince Gill has joined The Eagles for touring since 2017 after the band lost its cofounder Glenn Frey in Jan. 2016. He's continuing on with the group into summer along with Frey's son Deacon to sing and play guitar. Following his dates with The Eagles, Gill is heading out on the road on his own through the end of the year. AXS has tickets to select dates here.
Gill will kick off his solo run beginning Aug. 2 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota at the WE Fest before a few more dates in the Midwest including Grand Rapids, Michigan on Aug. 6. From there, he'll entertain fans in Virginia, Delaware and Ohio before heading to Oklahoma and Kansas. Ending his shows in mid-November, Gill will tour Florida - Orlando, St. Augustine and Clearwater - presented by AXS' parent company AEG. Tickets are on sale now following the links below.
Vince Gill has a jam-packed year as far as touring is concerned. Not only does he have upcoming shows with The Eagles and on his own, after his tour is complete he will take the stage with longtime wife Amy Grant for 12 dates celebrating Christmas at The Ryman Auditorium. Their holiday run was such a success in 2017 that two additional dates were added for 2018.
Gill's most recent album Down to My Last Bed was released in Feb. 2016 and became the iconic artist's 15th top 10 on the country albums chart debuting at No. 4.
