Violent Femmes have announced a series of headlining shows in North America this fall after wrapping up their co-headlining summer tour with Echo & the Bunnymen. The new Violent Femmes tour dates begin Oct. 26 in Pittsburgh and end Nov. 4 in Chicago. Tickets for all shows on this leg of the tour go on sale July 20 at 10 a.m. local time, except for the Oct. 27 show in Philadelphia, where the band will be performing as part of Radio 104.5's Halloween Hootenanny. Ticket info for that Oct. 27 concert is to be announced.

The current lineup of Violent Femmes includes original members Gordon Gano and Brian Ritchie, who revived the band in 2013 after a bitter breakup in 2009. Violent Femmes' current drummer, John Sparrow, joined the group in 2016. There is no word yet when there will be a follow-up to Violent Femmes' 2016 reunion album We Can Do Anything.

According to, SetList.fm, Violent Femmes' setlists in 2018 haven't been identical at every show, but the band has consistently played these songs on the tour: "Prove My Love." "Promise," "Blister in the Sun," "Kiss Off," "Good For/At Nothing," "Love Love Love Love Love," "Country Death Song" "I Could Be Anything" and "Waiting for the Bus."
