"It feels like I'm back to who I was," singer Ally Brooke recently told AXS. After six years in the pop group Fifth Harmony, Brooke is now pursuing a solo career and recently debuted acoustic versions of her new songs at the Proactiv Patio Sessions on the AXS rooftop in downtown Los Angeles.
Although eternally grateful for her years spent in the group, Brooke is poised and ready to take on the music world in the exact way she sees fit. So far, it's working: both of her solo singles, "Perfect" and "Vámanos," have garnered millions of streams and views. As for her approach to solo success? "As long as I'm organic to who I am and create stuff that means a lot to me and I'm passionate about, that's all that matters."
