Watch: Bishop Briggs talks being 'fearless' ahead of first headline tour
AXS

2017 is about to be a big year for rising singer Bishop Briggs. The promising 24-year-old musician has quietly crept on everyone’s radar with her rich, soulful voice and intense live presence that earned her performance slots on “The Tonight Show” and “Conan.” Her breakout singles “Wild Horses” and “River” are perfect entry points that display what Briggs’ dark pop is all about. Both singles keep her smoky vocals front and center, surrounding her with bass-heavy theatrics, fierce drums, and hooks that rattle around in your brain long after leaving. Ahead of her forthcoming tour, AXS spoke with Briggs about connecting with fans and getting over songwriting anxiety. Watch above.
