The BTS boys are back with a brand-new music video for “Airplane pt.2 -Japanese ver.-.” The video was released Nov. 6 via Universal Music Japan in support of the group’s latest three-song Japanese project released as FAKE LOVE/Airplane Pt.2.
In the video, RM, Suga, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin and J-hope all seem to be having a fabulous time in a bar. They break into their signature, tightly-choreographed dance moves while singing the song which Billboard reports is a celebration of the group’s success. Fans from the BTS ARMY were excited over the Latin-influenced song and the video projects its excitement.
Plus, these guys aren’t afraid to get a little wet and wild. At one point in the video, the South Korean superstars are even dancing in the pouring down rain. You can watch the entire “Airplane pt.2 -Japanese ver.-” BTS video above.
It continues to be a fantastic, milestone-making year for BTS as the band gets ready to launch the Japanese leg of their Love Yourself World Tour, which starts Nov. 13 at the Tokyo Dome. BTS was the first k-pop band to address the United Nations, they just won five 2018 MGA Awards, and BTS leader RM just scored his first solo No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, to name just a few of their accolades.
“Airplane Pt. 2” originally hails from BTS’ chart-topping album Love Yourself: Tear. RM, J-hope and Suga all share co-writing credits on the track, along with five other writers. BTS' latest Japanese release follows their previous Japanese LP called Face Yourself, which was released earlier this year. Stay tuned to AXS for BTS updates.
