Def Leppard fans who missed the legendary British rocker's appearance March 26 on “The Howard Stern Show” can check out video footage of the band performing an acoustic version of their single “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” The multi-platinum sellers were interviewed by the popular SiriusXM DJ and performed a couple of songs ahead of their upcoming induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which will take place in a ceremony on March 29 in Brooklyn, New York, at Barclays Center.

Blabbermouth reports that along with performing their 1987 hit single, the “Love Bites” hitmakers paid tribute to David Bowie by covering the late British rock icon's classic 1972 song “Ziggy Stardust.” The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees also discussed a variety of subjects, including musical inspirations, the making of classic albums like Hysteria and Pyromania along with other topics.

In the video clip, guitarist Phil Collen and  lead singer Joe Elliott discuss the creation of “Pour Some Sugar on Me” before Collen launches into the single's instantly familiar opening riff. Elliot adds a rhythm guitar layer to the performance as he begins the first verse, singing, “Love is like a bomb/Baby c'mon get it on/ Livin' like a lover with a radar phone.”

Following their Rock Hall induction, Def Leppard will hit the road for a string of festival appearances in Europe, beginning June 6 in Sölvesborg, Sweden, at Sweden Rock Festival. The busy rockers will return to North America for a tour of Canada with regular touring pals Tesla, which kicks off July 12 in Halifax, NS, at Scotiabank Centre, followed by a Sin City residency, which runs from Aug. 14 – Sept. 7 in Las Vegas at Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood.
