Watch Esmé Patterson discussing liking her songs better a year later and why her latest album is more cohesive
AXS Studios

Esmé Patterson is a singer/songwriter based out of Denver, who released her third full length album We Were Wild, back in June 2016. After touring on her own with her band for a while, Patterson is getting ready to hit the road once again, and this time, with the folk rock band SUSTO.

"I think on We Were Wild I was trying to please people a little bit, and I am really not trying to do that anymore," Patterson told AXS laughing.

With her latest album, Patterson explained that she worked with a band that she worked with the whole way through, rather than having random musicians play with her during different tour stops. The latest album brings a more cohesive, put together sound. You can watch the full interview with Patterson above.

Check out dates below on Patterson and SUSTO's upcoming co-headlining tour, and grab tickets right here on AXS.
