Flatbush Zombies appeared on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" this week, but it wasn't the usual promotional appearance. The rap group recruited members of the University of Southern California marching band! Play the video above to see their performance of "Headstone" and then get tickets to see Flatbush Zombies live here on AXS.

As Rolling Stone notes, there was definitely cause for the Brooklyn-based trio to do something spectacular, because they were making their first appearance on a late night show in three years. They certainly did that by bringing the USC Marching Band out on stage to back them up on "Headstone," which is the current single from their newest album Vacation in Hell.

The record has been anything but ok thanks hellish for the group. Since its release in April 2018, Vacation in Hell has reached the top ten on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and also climbed to number 11 on the overall Billboard 200.

And with creative stunts like this, Flatbush Zombies will definitely entice more music fans to give the record a listen. It's a tremendous amount of fun to see the USC marching band rocking out with the backing musicians, and more importantly, their playing actually enhances the performance. This isn't just a gimmick; the presence of the student musicians actually helps make the song sound richer and more vibrant. And as an added bonus, if you look closely at about the 3:30 mark of the clip, you'll see James Corden jamming along, too!

This is an outstanding live performance - it sounds great, looks cool and most importantly, it's just incredibly entertaining to watch. It proves that as talented as Flatbush Zombies are, they particularly shine live, which is excellent because AXS has tickets to one of their upcoming shows at one of the country's most spectacular venues.
