BTS is making a bold impression all over the world and may have just added three very famous celebs to their ARMY. The South Korean K-pop sensations guested on “The Graham Norton Show” on Oct. 12 (notably minus one member, Jimin). Other guests included “Fifty Shades of Grey” actor Jamie Dornan, Oscar-nominated actress Rosamund Pike, Oscar, Golden Globe, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Harry Connick Jr.

The audience broke into screams (as is typical when the internationally-adored boy band gets in front of a crowd) when BTS members started introducing themselves and Harry Connick Jr seized the chance to take a selfie (sans permission) after the leader, RM, offered up a British-style hello. Whoopi Goldberg is also visible in the hilarious photo, with the six BTS boys behind them.

Jimin was notably missing from the normally seven-piece group and Norton remarked on his absence. RM told the charismatic talk show host Jimin’s muscles “seized up” during rehearsal – but, he could fill in (on their impending "Idol" performance) if he wanted. While Norton feigned shaking and nerves, hunky Irish native actor Jamie Dornan readily volunteered to fill the void. This garnered more screams from the audience and a laugh from BTS.

The greatest moment came in the interview when Norton referenced the group’s new distinction as being part of Time’s Next Generations Leader list and their history-making speech at the United Nations. RM talked about the pain we all carry and that with light comes shadows. He stressed, “we should find the way to love ourselves,” adding, “especially the youth can be more happy and we can live a good life.”

Whoopi Goldberg was so moved by RM’s words she said, “I’m giving them my shirt.” She struggled with the buttons and stood up while Norton and Connick helped her. She explained she was giving them the shirt, which was her design and features people and movement, to thank them for the joy they are giving others. The audience cheered and BTS was thrilled with the gift. It’s safe to say three more ARMY members have been recruited.
