After Harry Styles appeared on James Corden’s Late Late Show on Tuesday to perform a few new solo tunes and deliver the show's traditional opening monologue, fans knew a “Carpool Karaoke” clip would also be coming in the days following. The anticipated segment arrived with Thursday's episode, as Styles joined the popular late night host for his customary drive around Los Angeles where the two enjoyed a sunny ride together while singing out some of their favorite tunes.
Styles had appeared on the segment back in 2015, taking part in the popular late, late night sketch as a member of One Direction. “Last time we did this you were not alone in the car, and now you are. Now you’re up front,” Corden reminded his younger passenger before belting out a duet version of Harry’s debut solo ballad, “Sign Of The Times.”
As seen in the video below, the two spent their carpool ride trying on various wardrobe options, before going into their own versions of Outkast’s “Hey Ya,” Diana Ross’ famous Lionel Richie duet in “Endless Love” and even doing their best Titanic re-enactment quotes.
