Harry Styles continues his promotional tour of impressing fans and audiences, as he stopped by "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Tuesday to promote his new solo album, and even gave Corden a night off from his monologue duties. Fans attending the taping of the popular late night show were excitingly surprised when Styles appeared from behind the curtain to start things off with that extremely likable British personality of his.
As seen in the videos below, Styles pretty confidently held the floor during the show's first four minutes. For those who aren’t used to having all eyes on them with a camera in your face, it could be a pretty intimidating and nerve-wracking experience. Harry and his green velvet suit did just fine in his late night hosting debut.
The young singer was also on the show to perform “Carolina,” one of the new singles from his new solo LP. The self-titled album has seemed to really surprise even the biggest of non-One Direction fans with how good of a solo debut it turned out to be.
Styles isn’t the first popular musician to take over hosting duties on late night television. Dave Grohl hosted a week’s worth of Chelsea Lately episodes in 2013. Fellow pop heartthrob John Mayer also hosted the same Late Late Show for a few nights in 2015, following the departure of then-host Craig Ferguson.
