Hi, How Are You Project

The Flaming Lips, Built to Spill, Yo La Tengo and more are among the performers for the 2019 Hi, How Are You Day concert set to take place at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas on Jan. 22. Not in Austin? No worries. The concert is set for a free livestream that will begin at 7:00 p.m. CST and will go until 10:30 p.m. CST. You can stream the show form AXS by following this link. Proceeds from the 2019 Hi How Are You Day concert will benefit the Hi, How Are You Project, a nonprofit “inspiring new conversations around mental health issues by funding and creating thoughtful media content, projects and events.” The Hi, How Are You Project came to fruition with help from Daniel Johnston and Family. The project takes its name form Daniel Johnston's beloved frog mural at the corner of 21st and Guadalupe near the University of Texas campus in Austin, which is captioned with the salutation “Hi, How Are You."
