Watch I Prevail talk about how pro wrestling inspires their sets, upcoming shows and more
AXS Studios

Metalcore band I Prevail announced their huge tour in support of their debut album Lifelines back in August, and after kicking off the shows on Sept. 30, the band has been bringing a unique take of hardcore music to the stages. Dubbed the Rage on the Stage tour, the band uses pro wrestling and concerts they have experienced on their own as inspiration for their sets.

"I think a big part of wrestling that is lost on a lot of people are the monologues. It is still a story at the end of the day, every character has their own story," the band told AXS during one of their tour stops. "That's something we touch up on our set. There's definitely those moments when Eric really gets into a persona of almost a wrestler giving a promo and a very interesting take."

I Prevail will head to the Novo in Los Angles on Nov. 12, before heading to the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Nov. 20 and then to the Masonic Cathedral in Detroit on Nov. 24. The band will wrap up the tour in Des Moines Iowa on Dec. 2. Watch the full interview above and grab tickets to upcoming I Prevail shows right here on AXS.
