Joe Russo's Almost Dead at the Ogden Theatre on 12/15/16

On December 15, Grateful Dead tribute band Joe Russo’s Almost Dead delivered a heater to a sold-out crowd at Denver’s Ogden Theatre. The band jammed through a number of crowd pleasing Dead tunes like “Viola Lee Blues,” “Loser,” “Shakedown Street,” “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” and the epic “Terrapin Station” suite. AXS was on hand to capture the excitement. You can check out our AXS Originals video below.

If you missed your chance to catch today’s premier Grateful Dead tribute band, don’t worry. JRAD will be coming back to Colorado in the spring of 2017. Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will return to the Ogden on April 28. Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, Scot Metzger and Drew Dreiwitz will head over to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on April 29 for their first ever headline at the legendary venue with far out jazz-funk fusion trio Medeski, Martin and Wood. You can find Ogden/Red Rocks bundle tickets here or check out this link for individual Red Rocks tickets.
