Paris' le Zénith welcomed New Zealand pop star Lorde on her latest tour stop Thursday night, and the 20-year-old took time to cover one of her favorite songs. The singer busted out a version of "Somebody Else" by The 1975, which she described as her "most-listened-to song on Spotify" last year. Check out the cover above.
The laid-back track has Lorde crooning over a former lover who still leaves an impression. The song was featured on The 1975's sophomore 2016 album I Like It When You Sleep... It served as the third single from the hit album, which gave the band its first No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and sold 98,000 copies in its first week.
Lorde continues to tour on the heels of Melodrama, her second studio effort released in June. She'll continue touring across Europe through mid October before heading home for a New Zealand and Australian leg next month. A massive North American tour is planned between March and April with 31 dates scheduled over its six-week span. Check out the complete list of tour dates here, which will have her on the road with Run The Jewels, Mitski and Tove Styrke.
