Country sensation Luke Combs has released the music video for his single "Beer Never Broke My Heart" before embarking on his 2019 tour of the same name. Watch the video by playing the video above, then get tickets to see Luke Combs live on tour here at AXS.

"Beer Never Broke My Heart" is the North Carolina native's sixth single, with the previous five all having been certified at least Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. According to Billboard, he's the first artist in country music history to have that level of success for a single. Watching this new video, it's not hard to see why his music has caught on; Combs has tapped into the classic country themes of heartbreak and drinking, while also adding something fresh to them, too.

The video features Combs singing about the heartbreak he's suffered losing the woman he loves, but it also plays their relationship in reverse. Throughout the video, fans get glimpses of moments he shared with his ex-girlfriend, going back to when they were in college together. It's a classic love story, but in true country music fashion, it comes to an end leaving the narrator with just his beer. Country fans will embrace the familiar story but also be touched by how Combs presents it.
