Migos have swept fans into a '70s retro “Soul Train”-inspired dance club with the hilarious new music video for “Walk It Talk It,” which features Drake. As a fun bonus, Oscar and Grammy-winning actor and musician Jamie Foxx channels his best Don Cornelius persona as “Ron Delirious” the “hostess with the mostest” introduces Migos as featured guest on the fabulous faux dance show “Culture Ride.”
Quavo, Offset, Takeoff, and Drake totally capture the “Soul Train” vibe with their huge afros, flashy bell bottom pants, zany sunglasses, and blousy, ruffled shirts. The “audience” members follow suit in groovy go-go dancer glory. Plaids and wild prints are all the rage as some people show off their slick, roller skating moves to the beat. And, a Jheri curl-sporting Drake delivers his infectious rap while dancing down the line in "Soul Train"-inspired splendor.
Fans and critics alike will be hard-pressed to forget this ‘70s-throwback musical time capsule treasure. If you’re in need of a good laugh, or one of those hard-to-stop smiles, watch the “Walk It Talk It” video embedded above and play on repeat.
“Walk It Talk It” is track No. 6 on Migos Billboard 200 chart-topping album, Culture II. The track peaked at No. 11 on Billboard’s U.S. Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and No. 18 on the U.S. Hot 100 chart. The video follows the Grammy-nominated trio's electric "Stir Fry" performance on "Saturday Night Live" earlier this month. Migos will be performing live at The Observatory in Santa Ana, Calif. on Monday, April 16. (Click here to purchase tickets) and stay tuned to AXS for Migos updates.
