Miley Week continued in glorious fashion on the "Tonight Show" Wednesday night, with pop star Miley Cyrus teaming up with host Jimmy Fallon to perform a fun-filled cover of "Islands in the Stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Watch the video above.
Fallon is first to appear on the '80s-themed stage donning a tuxedo, slick silver hair and an accompanying beard to make him look like a spitting image of Rogers. He sings the first verse alone before Cyrus, dressed in a black dress and Parton-inspired mid-length afro, comes to the stage to assist. The duo gets some laughs from the crowd as they rock to the 1983 hit song, with Cyrus taking the challenging vocal leads during the three-minute performance.
Cyrus took the stage earlier in the show to perform "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," originally sung by Nancy Sinatra. With the help of a backing band she strums along on her glittered acoustic guitar and over-the-knee boots. View her rendition of the classic 1966 song below.
Miley Week continues on "The Tonight Show" through Friday and previously featured special guest Adam Sandler during a performance of "No Freedom" by Dido. More guests are scheduled to appear alongside Cyrus during the residency's final two days.
