Of Monsters and Men is back with their first new music in four years. The Icelandic pop-rockers have unveiled a lyric video for the song  “Alligator.”

NME reports on May 7 that the new song is the lead single from the multi-platinum seller's newly announced studio album Fever Dream, which will drop July 26 via Republic. The upcoming release will be the “Little Talks” hitmaker's third studio album and highly anticipated follow up to 2015's Beneath the Skin.

“Alligator” was penned by Of Monsters and Men's co-vocalist Nanna Bryndis Hilmarsdóttir. The lyric video was produced and directed by Kamiel Rongen.

The video opens with a series of psychedelic images, which resembles a lava lamp. The song builds slowly with sustained guitar feedback and pulsating bass before launching into the first verse with  Hilmarsdóttir singing, “I see color/Raining down/Feral feeling/Swaying sound.”

Produced by Rich Costey, Fever Dream features 11 tracks and is available for preorder here in CD and digital formats in a variety of bundles. Fans can check out the lyric video for “Alligator” above.

Of Monster and Men will perform the live TV debut of “Alligator” on NBC's  “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.” The band also has an upcoming festival appearance confirmed Sept. 20 – Sept. 22 in Las Vegas at Life Is Beautiful festival.
