Paul McCartney fans can check out a newly posted official music video for the single “Come on to Me.” The song is from the ex-Beatle's latest studio album Egypt Station, which hit shelves Sept. 7 via Capitol Records.
The legendary British rocker unveiled the clip on Oct. 10 via Twitter and other social ahead of his second headline performance at Austin City Limits Music Festival, which takes place Oct. 12 in Austin, Texas, at Zilker Park. “Come on to Me” is only the third song on Egypt Station to be released as a music video along with the tracks “Fuh You” and “Back in Brazil.”
The video follows the antics of a security guard named Fred. Bored silly by the strains of elevator music being pumped into his office, the guard decides to relieve the tedium by busting dance moves while lip-synching to Macca's song with hilarious results as McCartney sings, “I saw you flash a smile/That seemed to me to say/You wanted so much more than casual conversation.”
Egypt Station can be ordered here in standard and deluxe editions in CD, digital, vinyl and streaming formats. Check out the music video for “Come on to Me” above.
Macca launched his Freshen Up Tour in Canada on Sept. 17 in Quebec City, Quebec. Following his headline ACL appearance on Friday, Sir Paul will take a couple of weeks off before resuming his world romp in Japan with a big two-night on Oct. 31 – Nov. 1 in Tokyo at Tokyo Dome.
