Paul McCartney performed the first show of a two-night stand on Sept. 26 in Uniondale, N.Y., at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The ex-Beatle rocked fans with a marathon 40-setlist, which included a surprise guest appearance from hometown hero Billy Joel.

Spin reports on Sept. 27 that Macca introduced The Piano Man midway through the night's lengthy eight-song encore. The pair of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers delighted the packed house by performing covers of The Beatles' 1969 single “Get Back,” followed by The Beatles' White Album classic “Birthday.”

Fans can check out the action via fan-shot HD footage from the show. In the 13:38-minute clip, McCartney and band rock through the White Album classic “Helter Skelter” before introducing his fellow pop-rock legend at the 4:30-minute mark.

The native New Yorker strolls on stage as the crowd screams their approval before seating himself at McCartney's Magical Mystery Tour era piano. Sir Paul handles lead vocals on “Get Back” while Joel chimes in on the choruses and takes piano solos, followed by a unison lead vocal rendering of “Birthday.”  Fans can check out the performances above.

McCartney will continue his hugely successful One On One Tour with the second show of his two-night stand on Sept. 27 in Uniondale, N.Y. The US fall trek will wrap up with a two-night stand Oct. 1 – Oct. 2 in Detroit at Little Caesars, followed by world tour stops in South America, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets for select Paul McCartney dates are available at AXS.

Fans in The Big Apple can catch Joel at his record-breaking monthly hometown residency stop on Sept. 30 in New York at Madison Square Garden. Tickets for all Joel's dates at MSG are available at AXS.
